TRX is jumping again

2018-01-03 23:03:01 UTC

@Fevs I have three more 1080TIs coming in along with the rest of the equipment needed fory rig

2018-01-03 23:03:31 UTC

@Fevs What are you mining, or are you using NiceHash?

2018-01-03 23:35:34 UTC

I'm mining ETH

2018-01-03 23:38:43 UTC

how much are you getting per day?

2018-01-03 23:41:27 UTC

~$13

2018-01-03 23:42:17 UTC

Like $350 a month lul, I'm basically drawing a welfare check

2018-01-03 23:42:40 UTC

how much did the setup cost you?

2018-01-03 23:45:37 UTC

Around $2300 I think

2018-01-03 23:50:13 UTC

@Fevs What mining software you using? $350 is high based on my calculations on a non-TI 1080

2018-01-03 23:50:32 UTC

Not saying I don't believe you, just wondering what you're using to get that number

2018-01-03 23:52:33 UTC

Just the normal claymore miner

2018-01-03 23:52:54 UTC

~120MH/s

2018-01-04 03:02:40 UTC

TRX just jumped another 4-5 cents per coin (80% increase)...sweet.

They just announced Tron partnerships...it'll probably continue to rise for the next couple days.

Im putting $500 on it tonight, on the next small dip.

2018-01-04 03:19:58 UTC

Yesh, I just got all my birthday money. Throwing down

2018-01-04 03:54:42 UTC

What's the best coin right now to turn into btc/trx ?

2018-01-04 03:54:56 UTC

becuase btc network is overloaded, I don't wanna mess with it. I'd rather throw my money into something else

2018-01-04 03:58:59 UTC

Nooo, system is upgrading. Always when I wanna do something exchanges have issues

2018-01-04 03:59:46 UTC

Yerp...going through that right now...Rampage

2018-01-04 04:00:10 UTC

Think I'm gonna buy eth instead of btc

2018-01-04 04:09:02 UTC

I would, if ur trying to get TRX...BTC transfer code isn't even showing up on binance

2018-01-04 04:09:19 UTC

Yeah. Everywhere saying btc having issues.

2018-01-04 04:09:28 UTC

I'm about to set up mew wallet

2018-01-04 04:09:35 UTC

problem is, the metamask stuff, I don't quite understand

2018-01-04 04:09:43 UTC

nvm, I see this video here now

2018-01-04 04:12:06 UTC

Wow, confusing a bit

2018-01-04 05:52:56 UTC

what percentage is BTC transaction fee?

2018-01-04 13:24:31 UTC

Had a dream last night that TRX went up to $88

2018-01-04 13:27:53 UTC

I cashed out and bought a house in Paoli

2018-01-04 13:30:31 UTC

Anyone setup a gdax wallet? For two days itโ€™s been timing out during the authentication process where I upload my drivers license and personal photo

2018-01-04 13:30:35 UTC

Beyond angry

2018-01-04 13:32:31 UTC

haven't used gdax

2018-01-04 13:32:38 UTC

I'm using Binance

2018-01-04 13:32:49 UTC

I am going to buy ELF, REQ & SNM.

2018-01-04 13:33:29 UTC

I got binance but end game is to buy XRP

2018-01-04 13:33:38 UTC

Using gdax to avoid fees

2018-01-04 13:34:20 UTC

I set up a Coinbase Account.

2018-01-04 13:34:33 UTC

Gotta get to Binance ASAP.

2018-01-04 13:35:15 UTC

Just get 8 ELF & maybe $20 worth in REQ alongside the same in SNM.

2018-01-04 13:35:16 UTC

Yup same here got coinbase binance is easy setup

2018-01-04 13:35:24 UTC

use coinbase to buy ETH and transfer to binance to trade to XRP

2018-01-04 13:35:31 UTC

Okay.

2018-01-04 13:35:40 UTC

@Hadrian Ok ๐Ÿ‘Œ

2018-01-04 13:35:47 UTC

I transferred the BTC I had in coinbase the same way

2018-01-04 13:35:58 UTC

but eth has lower fees

2018-01-04 16:33:23 UTC

@Bob Oliver It's not a percentage, you're paying a certain amount of BTC per byte of data

2018-01-04 16:54:05 UTC

ahh i see

2018-01-04 22:26:36 UTC

Anyone know the proper risers for the 1080TI?

2018-01-04 23:32:26 UTC

@Jossur Surtrson I don't think the individual card matters with PCI-E risers

2018-01-04 23:33:19 UTC

The only problem I can think of there is potential power problems over SATA

2018-01-05 02:41:44 UTC

BUY RIPPLE/XRP

2018-01-05 02:41:53 UTC

now

2018-01-05 02:43:00 UTC

I just got a notification on my phone, NY Times published an article about it

2018-01-05 02:43:37 UTC

and how some major holders of XRP have temporarily become more rich than Mark Zuckerberg

2018-01-05 03:52:45 UTC

Lol

2018-01-05 08:28:25 UTC

wtf is going on in this thread?

2018-01-05 09:16:21 UTC

white pawurr?

2018-01-05 13:37:28 UTC

we're learning to be jews

2018-01-05 14:44:58 UTC

@Fevs

Thanks for the reply. I found out I have the right risers. It's the power cables I'm missing. The 1080TIs use an 8 pin PCIe and a 6 pin auxiliary PCIe

2018-01-05 17:57:28 UTC

When Justin Sun makes his partnership announcements next week, be prepared for TRX to make another huge leap. Depending on who the partners are, I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches $1 per coin by end of Jan.

2018-01-11 14:31:02 UTC

Got my mining rig put together. She goes online tonight.

2018-01-11 15:24:38 UTC

EVGA 1600W

2018-01-11 15:25:17 UTC

The PSU was friggin' $419. Better not let me down.

2018-01-11 15:25:45 UTC

My luck I'll plug it in and cause a massive blackout in my neighborhood

2018-01-11 15:27:29 UTC

1600W, jesus christ yeah

2018-01-11 15:27:37 UTC

Stayed up way too late putting it all together. The frame took the longest to build because I wanted to measure out the height of the GPU as it rested in the PCIe riser so they didn't lean at all.

2018-01-11 15:27:38 UTC

I'm running a Corsair 850i

2018-01-11 15:27:51 UTC

You've got like double my wattage lul

2018-01-11 15:28:00 UTC

What cards are those again?

2018-01-11 15:29:14 UTC

Reason I went with the 1600 is because each GPU requires 220w minimum and I wanted to have a little more wattage available as a buffer for when I overclock the GPUs

2018-01-11 15:29:33 UTC

They are GTX 1080TIs

2018-01-11 15:31:45 UTC

How much was the entire rig if you don't mind me asking?

2018-01-11 15:31:54 UTC

And when did you buy the 1080s?

2018-01-11 15:33:34 UTC

Bought the 1080s the day after Christmas.

Entire rig cost was $5114

2018-01-11 15:34:14 UTC

Christ, you're making $50 a day with some coins with that setup

2018-01-11 15:34:45 UTC

You mining yet?

2018-01-11 15:35:35 UTC

There's a very very ugly URL for you lol

2018-01-11 15:38:34 UTC

Not mining yet. I stayed up til midnight getting the frame built and all parts plugged in and situated properly. I still have to install Linux on the SSD and install the wireless adapter. Then I will start benchmarking.

2018-01-11 15:39:02 UTC

What do you mean by benchmarking?

2018-01-11 15:39:26 UTC

If you have to ask...

2018-01-11 15:39:31 UTC

You cant afford it....

2018-01-11 15:39:47 UTC

Lol no idea just being a fuck

2018-01-11 15:42:14 UTC

I'm going to benchmark the rig using NiceHash and other miners to see what I can get. I trust whattomine, but I like finding out for myself.

2018-01-11 15:43:39 UTC

Nicehash has a good benchmarking function that takes about 20 minutes. Very precise. It squeezes as much hashing power as it can from your setup and modifies its config file to mine the most profitable coin at the time, then adjusts accordingly as it mines.

2018-01-11 15:45:43 UTC

The only thing I will change on my next build is the motherboard. This one is top of the line, but it is designed to support 13 GPUs. I don't need that since I cannot use more than six 1080TIs on one rig due to the required wattage

2018-01-11 15:46:49 UTC

If I had a bunch of 1060s, I'd probably swap it out and use them on this motherboard since the 1060 uses far less wattage and I could use all 13 gpu ports

2018-01-11 15:54:54 UTC

Gotcha that makes sense

2018-01-11 17:53:29 UTC

Question. I have an extra 1080TI that I do not have a power cord for. It takes a 8 pin and a 6 pin auxiliary. Would it hurt the card to use an 8 pin power cord and an additional 6 pin power cord plugged into the auxiliary, both using separate VGA ports on my power supply?

2018-01-11 17:58:23 UTC

I don't understand the question

2018-01-11 18:02:05 UTC

So a 1080TI card has two power ports. One requires an 8 pin and the other is an auxiliary power port that is also required. See here:
