I did something
I found a dove with a broken wing and I was going to take him to a rehab but it's closed so Taco has now joined the family
I also have reason to suspect he was either a pet at one point or hand raised by a rehaber and then released into the wild
He just seems to tame to be a wild bird. At first I thought it was shock but he is responding when I try to pet him on the back (because a predator comes from above) but when I pet his chest and belly he doesnt react. This would suggest he is used to being handled and only slightly wild
