I understand you're saying that masks are bs, I'm just not sure why masks wouldn't work when there are studies that appear to indicate that masks (slightly) reduce transmission rates

I worked with people over the summer and we had to wear them

people would take them off to cough or sneeze

because one of hte ones that did that was one of my two bosses

and taking my mask off to breathe for a few minutes

I think people should wear masks when possible but I absolutely agree that some people go way too far with it. Like the California governor who said that you need to wear your mask "in between bites" while eating food

I don't think it's good that there's such a heavy stigma against people who don't wear a mask either. I know a few people with severe asthma or other serious medical problems where wearing something like a mask that restricts their breathing would only harm them much more, and yet even with an official exemption they get insulted and screamed at as they go out in public
