Check this absolute beauty out! 40 cores and 80 threads and 32gb of ram for only 250usd!
Here is a video of a slightly faster e7-4870 absolutely dominating in multicore!
If you were to add an ssd this can get a higher score of an added 500
This bitch has 32 ram slots
This system allows upto a 500gb+ ram
@here โคด
**250USD**
You can also overclock if I am not mistaken
The only thing I am trying to figure out is how it gets power
But if you wanted something for a little bit of gaming or even an amazing server computer for games etc I would look into this system โคต
It has 18 dimm slots and supports 300gb+ ram
But getting one of these cpus x5660 would better as you can overclock decently which one would be better for gaming
if you overclocked this cpu to 3.6ghz it would out beat an i7-4770
I would recommend the x5660 for video editing and a bit of gaming
I'm planning on being in the US this summer so I could get all my parts from there
but I'm just afraid I'll get taxed the fuck out of them when I land in the airport in India
rendering it all useless
fair enough
damn thats fucked
so much for super power 2020
@here If anyone wants help finding a computer or the best parts for a bargain hmu
I know every part on the market!
Beside motherboard names
uhh
theres also this https://logicalincrements.com/
i5-2500K IS NOW 40 DOLLARS USED!!!!!!!!!!!!
<:yeet:463619860090322944>
That bitch got some fucking power!
It's base is 3.3ghz and can overclock to 4.9ghz
Once overclocked this thing is the same speed as an i5-6600k
Look how much a 6600k goes for
old i5-2500k that was made in 2011 still kicks ass

Hmu if anyone is interested in computer knowledge, I can teach you a good bit about hardware etc
@Deleted User how about helping me get a job?
Yeah I am in the looks for one as well bud
Sooooooooooooooo
๐
ok fair point
I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE WITH COMPUTERS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I got all this computer knowledge but no place to spew it!
<:crygun:461797181343662080>
Lol Jacob calm down. You'll have all the space to drop knowledge bombs when the time comes. Be patient
Or you could make YouTube videos
๐
did you read your michael myers A+ certification book and now you think you know something
@djancak ?
you're not even a dell certified systems engineer
No I am not, I just know an a good about computers
Besides coding which I am ass
But hardware I am almost golden
you don't even use ECC memory so what's your bag
i'm just saying bullshit don't take me seriously
Error checking I do with servers?
oh kk
๐
you got certs?
are you a CompTIA boy
No I do not have any certs
they're easy to get with a good book i got the mike myer's books
GG @djancak, you just advanced to level 5! View the leaderboard by typing !levels in any channel.
i had to memorize a bunch of stupid useless bullshit about IRQs and such but i don't think you have to now
Gotcha
I plan on going to community college for tech so I should get a few things done there
really i should read a new book because i don't know much of a shit about UEFI and the like
and i need to gitgud with ipv6
honestly i don't think college is worth it they waste your time with a bunch of superfluous stuff
a few good books and videos and some money to experiment yourself is the best imho
You are out of america it seems as ipv6 doesn't exist in america because of security reasons
i don't work tech any more htough because honestly it drives me insane
Lol
always some kind of bullshit that shouldn't happen happening
I love tech personally it keeeps me interested doing more research on it
?
like if i'm working with a client's server and their RAID fucks up even thought it shouldn't having to sit there figuring out whatever bullshit went wrong with the configuration or manufacturer i don't know it just makes me angry
i'm always thinking it's [THE CURRENT YEAR] this shit shouldn't be happening any more
Ah fair enough lel
Raid 10 is the best ๐
i don't even remember what 10 is is that the same as 1+0
yeee
i guess another part of my issue is i live in a poor area so i get poor clients more often than not
though at one point i had a nice contract with BP that had the hot pay $50/hour with overtime lol
too bad it was only a temp thing because i was just filling for someone else they were already training
i found out though that the company was actually paying closer to $200/hr because i was goign through like two sub-contracting agencies lol
and it was easy as shit work mainly just flashing laptops and fixing printer problems
sometimes working with some CISCO people on router shit
huh that's pretty cool
i worked through OnForce a lot and Barrister
Right now computers are a hobby for me and I do help people on a discord with all sorts of computer problems for free.
OnForce was insane because a contract would become available and like within the first 30 seconds people would already have bids up
