Be conservative. It’s simple. A paycheck isn’t how much you have until the next paycheck. It’s how much you can save. If you can’t save money making $10 an hour or $15 or $20 you would be able to save money making $30 or $40 or any amount. It’s a mentality. I’ve seen it way too many times. I’ve got a buddy who makes $75 an hour and lives paycheck to paycheck because he has no concept of a budget.
