Universe sucked only in that it was cut off.

There are legitimate criticisms of the style direction things took (IE it's all VERY poorly lit which can be unappealling, and while that is an intentional choice there is such a thing as killing one's self by drinking too much water)

Meanwhile in ***The Expanse***, my new favorice Sci-fi series of all fucking time, the world building and set building is phenomenal and the lighting/soundscape are used very damn well

See, I've barely touched The Expanse. Got all the episodes, just haven't sat down to watch yet.

There might be some repercussions to doing that.

I think a low base rate is something that needs to be in place. or else were going to have some of the shittiness of the industrial revolution. I dont think minimum wage should be a living wage, but there NEEDS to be a minimum wage. it helps keep some of the "evils" of capitalism in check, as some would put it.

kind of like how we should prevent huge monopolies from forming. thats kind of anti capitalistic, but I think its better for society, the country, and its people.

I don't want to confuse all businesses with the bad apples here.

theres bad ones, theres some good ones, and theres some decent ones. same can be said about literally anything in anything.

cant really stop that or change that, thats why we have rules in society. because some people are so bad that even if the good people didnt need rules, we need to impose them on everybody to protect the good from the bad. And no, Im not talking about total authoritarian regime, basic laws that keep society intact, kind of like what we already have.
