2nd interview done - That was a long one!
I talked to the project leaders of 2 major games (the 3rd guy had "unexpected" shit to do). They asked me about my studies, my past jobs, my gaming life, how working at the other studio was, the methodology used at the other studio... I don't know French and they know about it, I guess that subtracts some points, but they looked interested and the interview went for longer than what they expected even without the 3rd guy.
I hope the other candidates suck. 😂

7 to 10 days for an answer, that's gonna feel like an eternity.

They've promised they'll tell me whether I've been chosen, I'm cool but not needed or I should improve a lot.

Even if I'm just a mere Gold1 player in Rocket League, it's always fun to jump into an unranked match and just wow them all by a country mile. I just literally scored 4 goals and did 2 saves in a match. We won 4-1.

Gold1 is a fairly bad classification (only Silver1-2-3-4 and Bronze 1-2-3-4 are lower).

not really

thankfully the last few patches have sorta eased out the bullet sponges at the highest levels

super aggressive AI is more of a problem

Cool. I just finished FC5 on Infamous difficulty and it was nothing but sponges while I was made out of glass.

I'd love to have a shooter game where hitting body parts is somewhat useful (hit on the legs, less speed; hit on the arms, worse aim; body hit, worse vision, etc)

Closest thing I've seen to that is Dead Island.

One dude once modified some 2D game so that enemies and the player had very similar lifebars... and turns out the game is actually really easy.

Them having more health is fine, but when I shoot an enemy in the chest 5 times with an M60 and they don't go down, I call bullshit. lol

I'd just give enemies better precision and maybe faster movement.

I don't know why but I'd love to see a game about "mini" racing.
Karts, minimotos, pitbikes, quarter midgets... Maybe not a full-blown simulator but just a cool homage to those all forms of small-scale kinda-cheap racing. The game could have from rental-level vehicles to expensive shifter karts and rather fast minimotos and pitbikes.
