It is everyone's job to hold everyone accountable as far as activity, membership, conduct, etc.

I would expect anyone to speak their honest mind to anyone about witnessing of violations. You have strong opinions and have at many times been a strong leader for individuals. I know you are capable of delivering thoughts you may perceive to be harsh to others. I am formally requesting you speak your mind more deliberately in these matters to those you have these thoughts of. Be a part of the process.

Giving up on people and disregarding misconduct or refusal to pressure change in that regard is not a decision that the general membership can make. It is up to the discretion of those who decide suspension, and that is only after all efforts can be judged and applied in any circumstance.

It is everyone's job to press and place effort within everyone who is a current member at all times.

I understand you do not always prefer the tougher route if it may not yield desired results, but when it comes to men, we must exercise optimism to the last moment or we risk endangering the very underpinnings of our reason to organize at all. The belief that people, men, society, and the world can change for the better if given the right efforts and circumstances.

What we do is thankless work. It is hard and it is our job to place more faith in people than they do in themselves at times. It is necessary for us to fulfill our ideals.

I believe in a consistent and universal standard. Ryan PA had qualms with Vincent and threatened to refuse to work with him, communicate him "wash his hands" of him. I cited that would be trying to get something done, changed, etc. in the organization by means of threatening how the functions of the organization work. I cited it to him as a violation. The principle is the same. We all work for people until the last moment. If that means you tell him what you actually think, then it means that.

It is unbecoming of your tenure, experience, skillset, and motivations to be so quick to deny people the right to hear what you have to say, once you have already granted them your aid in the first place. That much is deserved, and you would be just to give. What we do is give, give, give.

I was as harsh with Matt as words could muster. I barred Harrison from everything and told him to renegotiate the ongoing cases. If it ends up being the case, I'll do the same with Wilson and encourage Austin to leave him to his own squalor should he refuse growth. I am responsible for these decisions and know we are people's last hope. If that means more chances, I accept it. If it means telling people the hard truth until the moment they themselves give up, then so be it. Tell people what you think, me too, but them especially. You're in a position to give.

Accuracy is not the point. It's giving up too soon. Even if they all end up dead in ditches, and even if they deserved it, it's on us to try up until the last moment. Right now, he's still here and you said it yourself that maybe there's hope if more effort is applied. So it's not over and it's not time to withhold the dialogue that could make the difference.
