If you are using the Privacy Badger or other privacy extensions, you may need to whitelist Discord and related domains in order for the images to load.
And I would lay down the law for every one of them, as many hours as it took to catch up. It was a terrible time sink and I'm happy we're rid of it. I wish I gave the general chat a physical grave so I could piss on it from time to time.
