i have a friend also in a rock band, a shity one, no one really likes their stuff

but hes really good at playing the bass

so they cant jus be like OHH I DONT LIEK U PLAYING GUITAR

he makes alot of money taeching middle to highschool and some even college kids how to play bass and guitar

i switched to guit tho cuz our drummer and rhythm guitarist left

for personal reasons not related to the badn

so im back home on the GEEETAR

yeh i teach some college students during the school year

thast also a good thing with this open mic

i get to meet he new students and network with new musicians, cuz the music program at this uni is pretty big

i could go there if i want but ive already been playing like 15 years... and im 24

id rather focus on making money and not on wasting money on a degree i rpolly wont use

cuz i already play proffesionally

hell my first gig was doing sound for a gig at the Canada games, thats already really high profile

yeah and i got great internet a good home studio setup for mixing and mastering

also got family friends that own the biggest audio equipment rental company in my province

and they rent personell too needless to say
