real quick just type a bit
ahh, only when multiple people were typinh.
But yea so most Libertarians in the US are like weird pseudo-republicans or AnCaps
Independents are more likely to have centrists/moderates
although Libertarians are at least more organized
Independents often run as individuals
Libertarians suffer strongly from being a small 3rd party that's stuck in silly purity spirals.
yep
I would call myself a libertarian, just not a party libertarian
They *had* a chance for a breakout in NM this cycle. But the Republicans are too arrogant to let them take the chance.
It's a real disappointment.
when Tim says big L he means the party
Yup
I often have to explain to people that not all Libertarians are libertarian
yep
Kinda like how you have RINOs
I was personally hoping the Libertarians took a senate seat under Johnson. But it looks like their splitting the vote with the REpublicans.
lol
Lago seems to have become a bit of a prankster.
dogass got mad
lel
He was a popular Republican governor.
dont @ everyone
I wouldn't knock him.
"What's an Aleppo?" killed the Libertarian Party.
/\
Open Borders killed the Libertarian Party for me.
Bake the gay cake said the "libertarian"
I don't know. I think "Trump versus Clinton" killed the Libertarian party.
That, and watching one Libertarian, the chairman of one district, berating other libertarians for being christian.
The real issue with the Libertarians is that they are stuck in a perpetual purity spiral to see how extreme a position they can take.
It's the dumbest group I've ever seen
Libertarians tend to fucking suck on foreign policy in general. I'm watching Rubin's interview with Peter Thiel right now and he brings that up as why he voted for Trump over Rand in the primaries, and over Johnson in the general.
yea
I could see that.
And precisely the issue I have with all these "classical liberals" and "libertarians" around here.
the AnCaps man
Libertarianism should be about principle, not ideology.
