But I do actually think the average footsoldier IS well-meaning.
But you may be right, Pratel. I'm likely speaking for myself here...
But if that's the case
If it's a matter of actually knowing what's going on
That's another place where we need to break the silence.
Start actually talking to other people who hold conservative values
make sure they know what's up.
Agreed.
But breaking the silnece is hard when it gets you fired.
And you're only one person.
Which is why I talk so hard about organization and the need to recognize common threats and be able to work together.
NEETS. An army of NEETs is needed.
Instead of fighting endlessly amongst each other on stuff that doesn't matter.
I got a funny feeling, there's already a bit of an army of NEETs.
We call it 4chan.
did somebody say Meme Magic?
Need moar.
stuff that doesn't matter....isn't agreed upon.
Which is part of the problem.
i don't think it is a problem
Paradox confirmed spy.
May we burn him?
Does he float?
Let's find out!
I'll get the diesel!
not agreeing isn't the problem, taking actions based on them not agreeing is.
one is live and let live, the other is tribalism
This is stupid.
Cohesive principles are needed
There's a number of key issues everyone on, for example this server, agrees upon.
And clearly defined threats.
To just smoke a joint and say it'll all be okay
Like Social Justice and censorship being very key issues and threats to freedom.
That's not going to fix anything.
Meanwhile, there's been a number of pointless fights where everyone dogpiled everyone else over religion the last couple days.
Ok. so. God doesn't exist. Now what?
i am not sure about that anymore, I think that's why it's going the way of tribalism, because it's not minor differences we disagree on anymore, it's some major ones.
Maybe religion really is the key issue, in a sense.
One of my core principles: Don't advocate for any standard that you don't want used against you.
The fact there is major disagreements shows it's not a unifying issue to push.
