You don't even have to adopt their position on it, you can just address the problem as you see it really, as long as you're sure you're being honest about it
I've been volunteering at my local Republican Party HQ
No. I mean, do you think they have been able to impose norms...?
And the older folks that help out there kind of adore having me around.
Like the example I gave for police brutality is better systems for training and assessing police action, which leads to more funding for cops
Who are often understaffed and poorly funded already
@Paradox Yes. What do you think happened to Reddit over the past year or two?
What is a modern university?
Have you been to a university? every office has an "ally" stamp on it.
I talk a bit about classical liberal concepts, (avoiding the L word) and they keep calling me a gift from God. (I avoid the A word too...)
That tells students that they are to also be an "ally" if they want respect.
And lo and behold, the core SJWs are among young colelge educated.
And, have universities taken a hit because of it? culturally.
A bit.
But only really among the right.
The left supports them wholeheartedly.
And let's talk reddit.
Have you seen young people these days?
Seriously though, guys. get involved in your local Republican Party. Take a note from Sargon before it's too late.
Reddit drones.
All parts.
The extremists in particular.
*norms matter*
Speaking of Norms...
I wonder what my lefty friend is thinking about the recent news...
Socialists, socdems and neolibs have formed a much more cohesive group outside of a few political struggles
Well, I am fairly certain that is completely not true. I mean you hear lefties whining about how universities are crap now all the time. Well, the extreme left calls them Alt-right now, ofc.
They've all decided to fight along the same lines
It's funny. My old friend's wife is a massive fan of Rosanne and avid trump hater
And my friend himself's favorite comedian is Norm Macdonald.
That's ironic.
Incredibly.
Probably just say "it's not the whole left" and dismiss it all is my guess.
Well I think it's mainly a case of the vocal minority.
I don't know.
But by any means, they do shift opinions.
I've seen it firsthand.
I think most people that are "on the left" are too busy putting food on the plate to go on a youtbue binge and see wtf is happening to their party
several times.
It doesn't matter so long as they mob up when prompted
