I did it, wasn’t that hard. Just have to actually go to the college before you’re out of high school. Show a lot of initiative and have an exceptional GPA, and you can get a full ride

he definitely had good work habits and deserved his success though. not trying to detract from the guy's effort.

but there are plenty of folk who 'work their ass off' and still aren't going to have the performance necessary to merit a full scholarship.

then if you fail to receive a full scholarship the moral judgement ends up being that 'you didn't work hard enough'
