If you want to PM me, that works too.
Hey everyone, I'm trying to find one of Tim's old videos where he compared his experiences at Clinton rallies vs Trump rallies. The part that I remember most was him saying "I've been to a TON of Trump rallies... someone came up to me and said "you're hispanic what do you think about illegal immigration? (or something like that)". to which Tim responded "I'm actually Korean" and the person said "OK. So, what do you think about illegal immigration?"
If anyone knows what video that is, please message me. I appreciate it.
My grandfather was a Mexican immigrant. He came here legally and so can everyone else.
^
I'm not Mexican. But it's a similar situation for me too.
I'm trying to make an illegal joke but it's not coming to me
Do you have a loicense for that there joke, mate? That's one illegal joke you just made.
Yeah the white part of my ancestry is for the most part germans who also came to the USA after it was established and went through the legal migration process
Pretty much.
I'm not against making the process easier though. As long as we maintain sovereignity, go for it, reduce the strain on the system by streamlining it.
Well the other problem is
It's meant to control the flow of foreigners
but people want into this 'terrible, not great, fascist, white supremacy' country like no other
I'm ok with reforming the legal immigration system. It's a horrendous mess that takes forever and is exceedingly confusing if you look into it and currently has a lot of holes and problems that let people in for silly reasons.
It could really be streamlined and reworked a good bit.
It shouldn't be an open floodgate either.
But like, birthright citizenship is silly and leads to silly outcomes.
It also makes me sick hearing people who were pro-border wall suddenly become against it because of partisan hackery
If a wall is good then it doesn't become evil because cheeto preisdent
Is all of the 'think of the children' bullshit
Oh yeah, there's a great atlantic article on Risotto's point: https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2017/07/the-democrats-immigration-mistake/528678/
@Arch-Fiend fuck you for wasting 5 minutes of my life with that faggot video
Obviously the people crossing the border didn't, but the country they are now illegally in, must
"Think of the children" and "people will die" are the classic "don't think just vote like I want" lines in politics. Get really suspicious when you hear them.
Both sides use it for their favorite pet causes.
In fact: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXWhbUUE4ko
classic
I feel bad for illegals but you have to have strong borders man. Its tough love
Fix your shit hole country or ask for aid
I mean, look at what the dalai lama said
He's getting hate for telling immigrants that they shouldn't make an established home their home, by abandoning their old one.
Id be down to aid in a mexico civil war
But they never ask for aid and dont declare civil war on the cartels
They act like everything is fine and dandy
We have sent a bit of aid at times.
And there is some cross-border law enforcement collaboration on cartels.
sending aid does shitall
There are multi billion dollar cartels ruling your fucking country and you act like mexico is still a great nation
