I think there is multiple angles

Its less political and more economical imo

They want to shut down independent big political youtubers

Because they are stealing their audience

I think their narrative was something like 'super chats allow these evil nazis to get money from views' 'somehow thats bad because the content might not be advertiser friendly' 'no super chats for them' (i skimmed it so don't sue me if its not an 100% accurate representation lol)

"their audience" ? I wouldn't switch to them even if there was no other choice

It's alot of things. The mainstream press wants to kill the independent press for economic and power reasons.

The left wants to regain total control of the narrative again.

They're teaming up to shut up the little people.

The unions do something similar to the people who oppose the leadership.

They don't care about the money.. they care about controlling the narrative.. if they cared about money they wouldn't be driving their ratings into the ground trying to manipulate the population to vote democrat

While the newspapers and television are mostly just passive reception

I can see why ppl hate that in the current year

For me the saddest thing is when joirnalist blocks discussion under his opinion piece

And then are suprised ppl go somewhere else for news

Honestly I think MSM is doomed no matter what. How can you justify paying some pundit 20 million a year when Tim Pool can do a better job than them from his house for probably 30-120k a year ( i have no idea what he makes)

I was a big fan of Ben Swann around the 2012 election.. he tried to go solo but he was trying to do it like the MSM wanting like 30k per video he made and quickly found out thats not how the alternative media works. He did manage to get funded by Dash though so hes back at it again.

There is one valid criticism tho
