Shame that 3rd movie was such balls.
2nd movie I do defend... mostly.
Merovingian was kinda stupid. And the entire direction of the movie was setting up a sequel that COULDN'T POSSIBLY BE INTERESTING.
"A war!"
... Oh boy.
So the universe has no meaning for life, but some people do? Which is correct? Can't they both be?
A funnel defense that gets overrun?
How interesting..
I did like the Bane/Smith stuff.
thats true p[aradox
Mainly I just like the Smith stuff in general.
What this scene really means, is an optimistic message.
So, isn't that an answer to the question, why they haven't killed themself?
Liberty can't lose, if it's even involved in your system at all. You can't use the illusion of it. Because even your MACHINES will crave it.
how?
Because even if their life doesn't matter, it does to them.
Paradox is right.
i supppse
I always loved how they choreographed Smith's fights. He never takes a purely defensive action. Every block or counter is only to open a path of attack. They made him fight like someone who can't die and that's brilliant.
Nihilists should be ready to jump at any time.
but what if they just didnt care
The fact a nihilist is still alive, means they have an interest.
what if they wanted to flow about causing as much harm as possible
Well then the logical case in that point would be it's less fun.
is it though
Wanting to cause harm, is a belief.
to act as the universe than to be something dfifferent
Behind a desire, is a belief.
Not sure about that.
rock hits planet, planet booms
human hits huiman, human bleed
The belief that I want to get my duck sick.
is valued by you
what if a true nihilist wants to be like the universe in random evernts and not value their death to prevent randomnerss
Look.
I would say that the basis for any belief structure starts with an assumption, though.
Here's a thing that will happen in billions of years.
Kind of assuming things, aren't you?
