There have apparently been several variations of the experiment described, and most people put the location of self as being just behind the eyes but a 15-20% minority put it somewhere in the chest or abdomen.

The point being that one's sense of self is not quite so ironclad as one might think. Easy way to demonstrate this is to do a fuckload of psychedelic drugs.

2018-09-23 01:15:25 UTC

Would the experiment work with a fuckload of placebos?

2018-09-23 01:17:34 UTC

Maybe. Doing placebos isn't much fun though.

2018-09-23 02:14:20 UTC

Confirmed: Tim is Richard Spencer wearing a hat.

drugs not slugs 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️

2018-09-23 02:14:34 UTC

That’s honest reporting

2018-09-23 02:14:42 UTC

What does Tim have to say for himself?

2018-09-23 02:14:45 UTC

Six degrees of Adolf Spencer

2018-09-23 02:15:11 UTC

Tim tweeted his rxn the day of the report. His pol stances, etc.

2018-09-23 02:15:25 UTC

Yep

2018-09-23 02:15:26 UTC

who uses tweety bird?

2018-09-23 02:15:27 UTC

That’s it

2018-09-23 02:15:54 UTC

Not really, I typically get banned because I follow a bunch of people I’ve known then make a few jokes then leave

2018-09-23 02:16:31 UTC

Next morning: “your account has been terminated because it doesn’t line up with our other accounts”

2018-09-23 02:22:55 UTC

So by that information Tim Pool is slightly to the right of James Allsup?

2018-09-23 02:24:29 UTC

Hes slightly left of Styxenhammer. Who is himself about on par with Dick Spencer

2018-09-23 02:28:00 UTC

No, No, you guys aren't reading it right. Tim IS Richard Spencer, just with a hat on.

2018-09-23 02:28:36 UTC

OHSHIT

2018-09-23 02:28:37 UTC

But why would the alleged alt-right, alleged white supremist Tim Pool not wear a white beanie?

2018-09-23 02:28:42 UTC

youre right!

2018-09-23 02:28:42 UTC

Or, you could say that Richard Spencer is tim without his hat.

2018-09-23 02:30:14 UTC

I think we're missing the key details that Alex Jones was trying to inform us about. Perhaps Tim Pool is just a crisis actor being paid by Richard Spencer to discredit the main stream media?

2018-09-23 02:31:18 UTC

that's a conspiracy theory.

2018-09-23 02:31:41 UTC

obvious cia op to obfuscate that tim is richard with no hat.

2018-09-23 02:31:49 UTC

But if we're actually in a giant virtual simulation then it's really a...game theory.

2018-09-23 02:32:24 UTC

simulation =/= game

2018-09-23 02:33:09 UTC

just like stimulation =/= fun

2018-09-23 02:33:56 UTC

But games aren't always fun either. Also, just because a simulation isn't a game and a game isn't fun doesn't mean that both can't have nuclear weapons.

I like the Raph Koster theory of fun, that fun is the pleasurable experience of learning a game, when the game has become fully optimized, a solved problem, it stops being fun

2018-09-23 02:37:08 UTC

Hmm, ya I don't agree with that.

2018-09-23 02:37:36 UTC

I'll try to get a proper quote

2018-09-23 02:37:55 UTC

pleasurable experience part I would agree with

2018-09-23 02:37:59 UTC

rest of it not so much

2018-09-23 02:38:09 UTC

It's often disagreed with anyway but I might have gotten it wrong

2018-09-23 02:39:25 UTC

There is a degree of fun learning the game but that explaination doesn't seem to involve any competition against other players.

2018-09-23 02:40:01 UTC

Other people make the problem harder to solve

2018-09-23 02:40:20 UTC

Tic Tac Toe is a solved problem regardless of PvP

2018-09-23 02:40:33 UTC

Depends on whether the game is good or not. If there is one simplistic tactic that is above all else and takes little thought then yeah I'll agree with it otherwise I disagree
