Maps are a lot more important on Smash

Obviously viewing from the right or a clockwise rotation is not as good.

They affect effectiveness of characters and such.

But fighting over opinions on the internet is the whole point of playing video games

Maps matter slightly. They're different sizes in most games which means its easier to get zoning characters in the corner
