Every time I've been made to make an account for some random website I think to myself "man I wonder how many people use the same password for their email they used to sign up as they do for here", and "I wonder how many of these sites use that info to break into peoples' shit".

Im working on the proof... at the moment its just a massive coincidence... but ive changed a password... so if the account is used again Ill know its confirmed

of course another possibility is that one of these companies has been hacked and the passwords have been decrypted (assuming they decrypted them... but it would have been big news if one of these companies was hacked

or maybe since you just confessed to sharing passwords between 2 sites, maybe you share with 3 or more.

Recruit 100 people who use Netflix to create 18+ char random char passwords for their account and then join this other service using the same credentials the same day. Then you will have something.

If they went in, they got want they want and won't go back in. It's data harvesting if anything.
