They are gambling their future by betting their current circumstances. Just based on population vs wealth disparity figures alone the odds aren't in their favor.

Some get lucky, others get cats and die alone.

You know things are going to go to shit with the Democrats if they actually bring in Joe Biden only to utterly fail.

2020-04-06 22:33:05 UTC

They honestly think Fidel Castro would be a better leader.

That MGTOW narrator may have one of the most insufferable simp voices I've ever heard.

2020-04-07 00:29:42 UTC

well wait

2020-04-07 00:29:48 UTC

are they mgtow or simp?

2020-04-07 00:29:54 UTC

you by definition can't be both

2020-04-07 02:03:32 UTC

The divorce rate has gone down for younger demographics, yes. But at the same time the marriage rate has also gone down. Younger generations have become much more selective with their marriage, meaning the ones who do end up marrying have an advantage going into it. This means many of the people who would've otherwise divorced are simply not getting married in the first place.

2020-04-07 02:04:33 UTC

So the breakdown of marriage is in fact accelerating. The youngest generations aren't "better at marriage", they're just more selective about it.

2020-04-07 02:08:40 UTC

Fewer and fewer people endure a long-term relationship. And the factors playing into that are the same as ever - number of children, wealth, status, bonding and communication, physical attraction, and so forth.

2020-04-07 02:14:26 UTC

You can also call the breakdown of marriage by another term: the increase in atomization. Younger generations are more disillusioned about life and romance in general than most generations before them. Education and the job market haven't been in a proper symbiosis for decades. This coupled with increased online presence makes people make more pragmatic choices as individuals instead of being naive and optimistic about family life.

2020-04-07 02:17:24 UTC

it's more they are slower about getting married

2020-04-07 02:17:31 UTC

because they watched the older generation get divorced so much

2020-04-07 02:17:38 UTC

they tend to be in multiyear relaationships before getting married first

2020-04-07 02:17:49 UTC

Not slower, less.

2020-04-07 02:17:55 UTC

yeah

2020-04-07 02:17:57 UTC

but that's what I mean

2020-04-07 02:18:00 UTC

instead of getting a divorce

2020-04-07 02:18:04 UTC

they were in a 2 year relationship

2020-04-07 02:18:05 UTC

then broke up

2020-04-07 02:18:08 UTC

or maybe 4 year

2020-04-07 02:18:09 UTC

then broke up

2020-04-07 02:18:20 UTC

Yeah but they don't end up marrying later instead

2020-04-07 02:18:33 UTC

They just stay unmarried for life

2020-04-07 02:19:02 UTC

yea

2020-04-07 02:19:04 UTC

well like

2020-04-07 02:19:06 UTC

it's hard to find dates

2020-04-07 02:19:06 UTC

2020-04-07 02:19:07 UTC

2020-04-07 02:19:07 UTC

sure

2020-04-07 02:19:08 UTC

Marriage is no longer the good investment that it used to be. Feminism and other things have made sure of that.
