I liked a lot of aspects of GitS

I liked the contemplative tone of it.

I don't like animes that are over the top, which most of them are.

I like how everyone forgets that the Borg introduction ep is a Q ep.

The only reason they survive the Borg is because Q lets them.

But then again, I suppose they drew heavily from Blade Runner, so what I liked were aspects of that.

And people would rather ignore Q's influence on the canon. lol
