sounds like normal socialism to me
But once the federal sugar daddy starts cutting back they'll quickly realize they can't afford as much as they want and be forced into some sort of fiscal responsibility.
Lot of people saying the Donald Trump Soros tweet was a conspiracy theory but a lot of the NGOs at the protests have Open Society Foundation listed prominently as a donor
cut them off like the rich white daddies girl they are?
Are you comparing the federal goburment to Harvey Weinstein and the states to the prostitues, er, uhm, victims?
General government philosophy for me: Regulation should be about ensuring ability to enter markets, not letting a bunch of people who have no clue about anything in those industries be the ones who ultimately decide the "proper" way to do things
nuke hollywood
kek
Swap it with Bollywood. I need more random dancing in my entertainment
YOu think it's isolated there?
nope, but at least give me something enjoyable to watch
All I'm trying to say is trying to blame a judge for a law written by other people is nonsense.
So Tim's meme is crap.
People won't have a choice but to do more tbh
As long as the judges aren't Cathy Newmaning the interpretation
And Tim's meme was about Kav's views
I hate even calling it a meme individually
Tim's participation in a meme
Tim's expression of a meme
OI GOTTA LOISENCE FOR THAT MEME?!
Mean meme machine
Meme Revolutionary
Textualist; explicit is better than implicit for rules in general if you want it to be nice to those not knowledgeable in the rules
The more we expect SCOTUS to divine the intent of the lawmakers and the intent of the founders, the more damage they can do.
People still seriously argue that "well regulated militia" means only the army can have firearms.
Power to create and repeal legislation should be vested only in people that we can fire. And ideally all such people should be subject to recall.
Textualist, which isn't what scotus is
Hmm
Well, at this point the SCOTUS has already made a dog's breakfast of some things.
Militia is not the Army
which is understandable, information is never complete
Well sorta, @Khanclansith
it's complicated in the U.S., because many state militias chose to join the U.S. armed forces
including Army, Navy, Air Force
and I suspect some will join the Space Force
In the orders of mobilization, Militia are very far off the list of an Army, and far from the National Guard (State Volunteer Regiements)
Militia are people in the villages with arms called up to defend their communities.
Militia are either the very first line of mobilization or the very last line of mobilization.
The Majority of the Swiss units are Militia Infantry, so they keep their combat rifles and gear in their home.
