there was the point that the normal left feels tired, not that they couldn't engage but play the nice guys

i think part of the problem here is that there isn't a good voice for fairly normal left, its a harder more naunced POV, most of the public voices (news) are leaned harder towrads progressivism, which yes some left agrees with some of the time but is a harder stance to take seriously and not one to voice unless you are fully on board

lack of well articulated moderate left views making it easier to just not engage

i agree that if moderate voices wouldn't be 'underground' there wouldn't be such exhaustion and it would be much easier to engage in the public debate

I used to be pretty far left myself. Even voted for Jill stein in 2016.

As time went on I would just get scolded for not agreeing with 100% of everything from the far left, and ignored by the moderate left anytime I brought up faults within the Democratic Party

All around it felt like I was talking to a wall

With most of the time ending up ignored and ostracized

People would just never talk to me again
