Do you know what size plates would fit? Best to measure for that, and use that to measure plate carrier size

Absolutely 110% pay for anti-spall coating. If you aren't going to, don't bother to wear the plates, at that point just get some soft pistol plates instead. Just get it.

The build up is so cheap relatively it isn't worth trying to figure a way around it.

Resize Russian 7.62x54r work great. You can size the bullet to 7mm/284 and make a long high bc ap bullet.

@booglooman92 {OH} That's a good deal for sure, and I hope you can get them. If not, I have a spare set of plates and kevlar from a vest I cut to fit into a PC. @O/K/ie Voluntaryist, putting a notebook in your PC in front of the plate should catch spalling

A notebook isnt going to help much with spall. I mean in theory it will but actuality its gonna shred it with little to no effect
