This sounds like a bustling area.
Lots of OT, not a huge amount of spare time
Can somebody ask scrib what county he lives in?
or at least some broad coordinates?
Some weeks I would just come home, sleep, go out to work the next day
That happened to me too.
But it was minimum wage.
Came away from that job with nothing saved. No way to save.
At one place I did that for a month, every day
Should try and work in the pharmacy at CVS
9:30 til 10, 11, got home on one of the last buses
Got up the next morning, back to work
No experience or education above high school required, pays above min wage. Might be hard to get if there is no slots open, and it's a bit mind numbing as it's mostly counting pills
Now imagine doing that but being paid 7.50 an hour
@Coochie coo He doesn't work, his mother pays his way.
Dude, I live in the fucking desert and I manage to find jobs.
You deffiantly can.
#desertlivesmatter
Nothing is here other than military bases and such.
The last time I sent out applications I got zero response. There was not an interview involved.
Keep trying.
How many applications?
No.
You will get rejected.
After awhile you're just done.
A year and a half of that with no OT will get you about 20k after transit expenses at 7.5 m8
You don't have that option to just give up.
I'm an experienced professional, and I've been rejected like... 400 times this year.
Which you then use to get training to get a better job
Everyone gets rejected constantly.
You don't just stop trying because you got rejected.
And if your art starts up on the side that accelerates the process
You only need to be accepted once to get a job.
It's not going to start up on the side.
I'm not going after commissions anymore, it's a shitshow. I'm going to complete a game or nothing happens at all.
...
:oroborous: would be nice
Work part time then. Low number of shifts
> doesn't know what QA is
> will complete game or nothing else in life
You don't follow the whole "It's too distracting to the art" bit
