Speaking of the whole world going blind, anyone read Blindness?
No
Shit's good
I ain’t
Basically there's a plague that sweeps through an area rendering everyone blind
I hate these guys
They start quarantining everyone in an asylum and the idea is that they're meant to get properly fed and supported by the state, but basically things start to slowly break down
socialism?
No, just quarantined
difference?
"You are sick, so you can't leave this area, in return you get food" vs "we will redistribute all resources"
idk, think you are just splitting hairs
sounds like socialism to me.
Also Quake Wars is neato but W:ET is bae
"state will take care of you, stay here, be good, god is governemnt government is god.
"If you share something or care for another person that's socialism reeee"
Also government support in the novel breaks down pretty quickly
right, just like socialism does
So does the social structure inside the asylum
You can look at it as an allegory, sure
dark? realistic?
Realism of it is debatable
Quake Wars needs rebooting
Some things are very convenient
I'd bring back Return to Castle Wolfenstein first tbh
well I mean, if people treating eachother like shit is normal, what is this "dark look"?
I'm not going to spoil the whole book
when a lion manages to catch a gazelle and eats it, is that dark? Cuz I'd say that's just normal.
question involving the nature of the plague in the book
is the type of disease mentioned, i.e., viral, bacterial, etc or is that left to the reader
I’d also like a Quake Wars set during the invasion of Stroggos focusing on the marines as well
also, Spec, have you figured out why you know what a protogen is or nah
Sargon made a good video.
I enjoyed it.
And if you don't enjoy it, I'll hurt you with violence.
@Hoenn_Otaku "Umber" probably cause I knew some furries
gotcha
@Hoenn_Otaku "Umber" never explained. One of the affected is an optometrist, in fact
0 wrong with people's eyes, they just cease to work
