IF you had a spike in crime regarding stealing food from grocery stores, I might've believed it. But when you have scum stooping so low as to loot and burgularize in the middle of a national disaster, it only goes to show that the criminals are NOT "victims of muh socioeconomics", but rather immoral, greedy cunts.
And that's why prison sentences should always be punitive rather than "rehabilitative".

Criminals are not "sick" for doing what they do. Criminal behaviour is not a disease, it's a choice and you can't cure people of the choices they make.
