Something given has no value
If something given holds no value, tell me, why was it given in the first place?
Things do not manifest out of the endless void, and thus no matter how insignificant a given thing is, someone saw the effort to give it, which in and of itself took and consumed a moment of a limited lifespan... If life holds no value, then sure, something given has no value - but I am of the opinion that life holds value, meaning, and a point. Something given has value.
The only thing is that the value in question, is fundamentally relative.
Life does indeed hold value, however value is always in the eye of the beholder, it is through our human lens that we derive meaning of this world. The beautiful thing about being human is we all have different perspectives for the same stuff.
I came here to learn about different perspectives, and to also have my perspective understood by someone other than myself. Growing and adapting. Such is the way of all life
