Yah. Seen quite a few studies about that.

2020-03-05 14:01:11 UTC

Well yes but I speak of the moderate Dems and the Elites.

2020-03-05 14:01:20 UTC

Weird part for me is that thanks to who I dated in college, I have been sort of watching the entire shitshow coming for decades.

2020-03-05 14:02:05 UTC

My boyfriend at the time was a philosophy major, doing his Master's thesis. Like an idiot, he decided to do it on Academic Neutrality. Which required him to dig into every sacred cow that couldn't be subjected to academic rigor because it was "too important".

2020-03-05 14:02:11 UTC

THE RACE IS ON! TULSI WILL PULL A JEB AND STEAL IT FROM BIDEN!

2020-03-05 14:02:24 UTC

Learned some seriously weird things about the left back then, just been watching it bloom since.

2020-03-05 14:03:21 UTC

Speaking of Jeb.

2020-03-05 14:03:31 UTC

I love that the Bushes are dying.

2020-03-05 14:03:37 UTC

Well I just assumed that both parties would go to shit.

2020-03-05 14:03:51 UTC

That's what gonna happen for sure.

2020-03-05 14:04:05 UTC

This is actually more about the ideology and the intentional takeover of academia than the political action portion of things.

2020-03-05 14:04:30 UTC

Well they aren't mutually exclusive.

2020-03-05 14:04:50 UTC

politics is downwind of culture

2020-03-05 14:04:52 UTC

Apparently, some of the people who did sit-ins and so on, rather than thinking the goal was to get academia back to being ideologically neutral as much as possible, just decided that the whole point was indoctrination, so they might as well take over the inputs.

2020-03-05 14:05:02 UTC

Like, literally and in those terms.

2020-03-05 14:05:13 UTC

By the time I was in college, it was well underway, but it wasn't done yet.

2020-03-05 14:06:14 UTC

Well I was raised in a left wing household that taught me to distrust a lot of information taught to me.

2020-03-05 14:06:48 UTC

So I was never grasped one way or the other via indoctrination.

2020-03-05 14:06:59 UTC

I was raised by unreliable authority figures that taught me to analyze input regardless of the source. And syllogistic logic at a really young age. Authority figures hated me.

2020-03-05 14:07:11 UTC

Or made friends with me. Which I think said more about them than me.

2020-03-05 14:08:06 UTC

university now is little more than a intellectual daycare center for manbabies and women who never progressed from a childhood mental state

2020-03-05 14:08:13 UTC

Anyhow, I have the most redpill argument ever.

2020-03-05 14:08:47 UTC

For blacks to rise up aganist oppression, they would need to vote Republican once.

2020-03-05 14:09:06 UTC

I didn't get indoctrinated in school at all, my mind is blown by the stuff on YouTube

2020-03-05 14:09:19 UTC

And all the bullshit would slide off from both sides.

2020-03-05 14:09:44 UTC

Republicans would actually try to win the black vote.

2020-03-05 14:09:48 UTC

@Eric2, Blown because it's crazy, or just because it's new?

2020-03-05 14:09:48 UTC

It was a tech school

2020-03-05 14:09:55 UTC

Both

2020-03-05 14:09:58 UTC

Fair

2020-03-05 14:10:05 UTC

Democrats would suddenly care about the black vote.

2020-03-05 14:10:14 UTC

I can't believe the anti free speech movement

2020-03-05 14:10:25 UTC

I can.

2020-03-05 14:10:27 UTC

@Jerm70, that's kind of happening now, so we'll see.

2020-03-05 14:10:40 UTC

Free speech for me, not for thee.

2020-03-05 14:10:43 UTC

All through middle and high school I was taught the goodness and importance of free speech

2020-03-05 14:10:46 UTC

Its timeless.

2020-03-05 14:11:28 UTC

"Hate speech is not free speech"

2020-03-05 14:11:33 UTC

@Eric2, it was pretty much what was in the pipeline when my ex was doing his paper. Things that were "too important" or "too sensitive" to discuss fairly. In Academia. Where we were (at the time) supposed to be researching and working out the truth of things.
