What makes someone more prone to hurt someone is to dehumanize or demonize the other individual. When you "Other" someone, that makes it easy to justify harming them.

That's not too different than what you ( @Dᴏᴏғᴜs Dᴏʀᴋᴍᴀɴᴇ ) are advocating for. When you put people as other groups that's when really weird stuff can happen.
and has probably lead to an undue demonization of "acting white" (wanting a higher or better education and a stripe of industriousness) on the basis of the majority of white people they interact with basically talking down to them.
If you want to see something funny I highly recommend just going up to some upper middle class white Karen who is going on about how much black people or whoever need help. Look her in the eye and tell her "Black people don't need you. I don't need you. You are doing more harm than good"
