what if its a superior product?
what if it isn't
how will we know until customers have had a chance to test it
at the end of the day its the consumers who will decide right
okay i just checked it and it looks awful
really bad UI
im not interested
ill move on
its like, anyone could have used netscape in the 90's right? just go on the internet and get it... but the courts decided it wasnt enough.... and microsoft had to create a browser choice system, so people could decide for themselves
browsers could freely bring their product to consumers
im talking about free markets without government intervention
Wacka the free market and a relatively uninhibited ability to bring products and services to that market are two sides of the same coin they are a symbiotic relationship, one cannot exist without the other sky delineating them seems pointless
a free market is that
those are the same thing
You told me about Bitchute, I went on it and I saw it was quite shit tbh. Really bad UI. I moved on.
accessibility was there
free market = "relatively uninhabited ability to bring products and servers to that market"
in your words
everyone has access to markets
yes everyone has access to markets... but the businesses need to be able to bring theirs
whats stopping businesses from bringing their products to their markets? If their product is shit don't blame the markets
So how does that market exist without also having the relatively unrestricted ability to develop products and services. The market is a demand that needs fulfilling, if your preventing from fulfilling it then you have nothing.
just like saying "whats stopping people from going on the internet and finding netscape" ... the courts disagree with you, they say this is not a free market
we are not talking about courts, we are talking about a scenario where there is no regulation and restrictions
hence billions in fines and having to create a browser choice system
no... a free market NEEDs regulation
just like if you want free speech, something needs to protect that
if it needs regulation it also needs enforcers
external agencies
more like protectors
I agree with you wacka, unregulated free markets become exploitative very quickly.
so like the government you mean
theres no such thing as an unregulated free market
there are free markets ... and there are unregulated markets
wait what
Free markets are not really free and they need regulation but there are also unregulated markets
what
if a market isnt regulated I cant see how it can be free... unless no-one even tries to compete
the second you come to the first business theyre going to say "dont go to that guy, he sucks"
so for a markets to be truly free you need to impose regulations on it
