Look at all the great institutions and systems we have. How many contradictions there are and how it still works.

Capitalism also enables the existence of certain social programs that are indeed functional even if they arent efficent

And then look at the systems we try to craft in isolation. Without a tradition to really draw upon. Most of them leads to tragedy.

You cant have optional free healthcare or optional welfare if you need it in a communist country
