what if you end up with a chronic condition?
less than a million people go bankrupt in america, thats less than 1% of the us
per year
yeah less than 1%
thats hardly as society collapsing as youd have me believe
it's not a society i'd choose to live in
sure, and you have that right, but that doesnt mean the nhs isnt socialist jstu because you like it
it's not socialist because it's a public service, it doesn't have an inherent political ideology
lmao how disingenuous
you and i both know exactly what we're talking about
lunch is over, have fun
heh
good afternoon fellas
day 5 of no work
15 days left
at least
"up to 6 months" they said
tell that to my employer
just bin t' shops
seems no different out there
fookin rammed with milk.. actually had trouble pulling out a bottle it was so packed in
so I got 12pts 😛
Was your freedom trodden on by your visit to the shops, Wacka?
didnt see no fuzz
you certain they weren't training death rays on you from above with a police nazi drone?
lulz
I noticed the supermarket had a load of new locker things outside
and all the cashier things had "card only"
That's an assache, I have a bunch of old 20s i need to use up
yeah me too.. i just used the self service
how long we got, to use them all up?
August 20th, apparently
With the switch to polymer, the number of legitimate excuses for changing them so often diminishes
Watch them continue to replace each note in succession as if it's some kind of tradition they're upholding
they might extend the deadline in light of the situation
Doubt it
Well as long as they're exchangeable with banks
Sortof - you can switch/deposit them in your local bank until August 20th + a period decided by the bank. After that you can exchange them only at the bank of england itself
You'll be reported, though, to the Inland Revenue
You'll find switching them at your local bank requires you present your account details/card
