You have to apply at a border station or us embassy

2018-10-30 11:34:12 UTC

So yes it is

2018-10-30 11:34:27 UTC

er

2018-10-30 11:34:33 UTC

apply as in send off paperwork isn't it?

2018-10-30 11:34:54 UTC

pretty sure my dad didn't need to go visit the american embasy in person when he went to america.

2018-10-30 11:34:57 UTC

You must apply in person

2018-10-30 11:35:10 UTC

Atleast as far as I understand

2018-10-30 11:36:10 UTC

he was on a buisness visa though

2018-10-30 11:36:55 UTC

What about the pregnant esports pros

2018-10-30 11:36:58 UTC

you can apply online..

2018-10-30 11:37:02 UTC

Do we deny them?

2018-10-30 11:37:38 UTC

oh nvm, just noticed there is an interview

2018-10-30 11:38:29 UTC

"You should schedule an appointment for your visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the country where you live"

2018-10-30 11:38:44 UTC

sometimes i should read the whole thing instead of skimming 🙄

2018-10-30 11:38:58 UTC

True boi

2018-10-30 11:39:58 UTC

Sounds like my proposal might create some more government jobs

2018-10-30 11:39:59 UTC

so one flaw i see here

2018-10-30 11:40:00 UTC

Tbh

2018-10-30 11:40:07 UTC

doesn't say how long the wait is for the interview

2018-10-30 11:40:20 UTC

wait nope, thinking backwards

2018-10-30 11:40:39 UTC

i don't think it would tbh.

2018-10-30 11:41:28 UTC

doesn't say how long between the interview and visa approval, so i'm guessing thats done at the interview

2018-10-30 11:42:13 UTC

buuut, what if they're like a month pregnant and not really showing, get the visa and travel to the U.S months afterwards?

2018-10-30 11:42:31 UTC

I'm a citizen so I can come and go as I please

2018-10-30 11:42:33 UTC

I'ma interrupt for a second

2018-10-30 11:42:37 UTC

This is fucking hilarious.

2018-10-30 11:42:57 UTC

codes, we're talking about birth tourism remember

2018-10-30 11:43:12 UTC

your solution of denying pregnant women entry..

2018-10-30 11:43:20 UTC

Its simple

2018-10-30 11:43:27 UTC

No womxn can come

2018-10-30 11:43:37 UTC

so we agree, fuck half measure, ban all women

2018-10-30 11:43:44 UTC

Without volunteering to take a test they pay for

2018-10-30 11:44:01 UTC

..

2018-10-30 11:44:13 UTC

i'm pointing out a time delay between getting the visa, travelling, and how long they stay in the us for

2018-10-30 11:45:01 UTC

i dunno how long the visa is valid for, but wouldn't it be possible to time it so you can get the visa, get pregnant AFTER its approved, leave it a few months, travel, then stay in the US for a couple more months and give birth?

2018-10-30 11:45:21 UTC

in a country like russia i bet that's doable.

2018-10-30 11:46:27 UTC

if the pregnancy test is just a pee test, get a none pregnant friend to do it

2018-10-30 11:47:16 UTC

in a corrupt country, just have someone else be your double and do the whole visa process on your behalf

2018-10-30 11:48:44 UTC

i think just not giving the damn baby citizenship really is the most practical option
