from the west most of it has always gone through the smolensk gate in belarus
the amount of travel between those and more populous areas is miniscule compared to thatof other countries

if situation in Russia was really bad then internet would be flooded with videos of sick people on the floor in hospitals or smth like that. Obviously real number of cases is bigger then officials claim but I doubt that it's much more than a few thousand
