those white looking things on the bottom left corner are actually scrapped enemies from the half life 2 beta. They still exist in Half Life 2, I am pretty sure you can see them in the citadel

All the animation, models, references are in tact. But the reason why everything is so bugged out is that the references are pointing to models that are no longer in the game.

HLA has been out for just over a week and they've already fixed up the code for melee weapons.

I am sure we could restore atleast some of that
