😄

2018-11-13 18:57:07 UTC

If only theyd been in force earlier they mightve stopped this

2018-11-13 18:58:00 UTC

And would you want to be made a part of the Eurozone without a refferendum?

2018-11-13 18:58:09 UTC

The European Commission, the EU’s executive arm, monitors the finances of member states, reviews annual spending plans, identifies imbalances and issues country-by-country recommendations every spring. These have to be endorsed by finance ministers and incorporated into the budget plans for the subsequent year. The Italian government’s decision not to back down despite warnings by Brussels made the commission issue a negative opinion on Italy’s budget, essentially rejecting the country’s spending plans -- something the commission has never done before.

2018-11-13 18:58:45 UTC

Well the italy is interesting

2018-11-13 18:58:47 UTC

Ah good, so the EU gets to dictate policy to its member states and they are required to accept it

2018-11-13 18:58:48 UTC

Story

2018-11-13 18:59:00 UTC

Basicaly they are are going full retard

2018-11-13 18:59:00 UTC

@Blackhawk342 no, it tossed the Greek Budgets quiet a few times

2018-11-13 18:59:11 UTC

And draging the eurozone with it

2018-11-13 18:59:13 UTC

Lel

2018-11-13 18:59:27 UTC

Oh im sure they are doing something very dumb, nationalism can only lead to dumb decisions

2018-11-13 18:59:37 UTC

They want the national minimum income

2018-11-13 18:59:40 UTC

😄

2018-11-13 18:59:57 UTC

Well it is dumb idea in this case

2018-11-13 19:00:15 UTC

>drag the eurozone with it

2018-11-13 19:00:16 UTC

explain

2018-11-13 19:00:32 UTC

If Italy bankrupts itself

2018-11-13 19:00:37 UTC

Euro goes under

2018-11-13 19:00:44 UTC

Thats what i mean

2018-11-13 19:01:16 UTC

I have some very negative critisisms of the Greeks and the Italians as well but I am not a Greek or Itallian voter so I will not try to do anything more than talk to Greeks and italians

2018-11-13 19:01:40 UTC

Yeah the problem is when you addapt euro

2018-11-13 19:01:50 UTC

You sign to certain rules

2018-11-13 19:01:57 UTC

And when you brake them

2018-11-13 19:02:06 UTC

They have right to demand you fix that

2018-11-13 19:02:17 UTC

They should leave euro

2018-11-13 19:02:28 UTC

If they want to do fucked up things imo

2018-11-13 19:02:56 UTC

Maybe the response should have been to asked to leave the Euro instead fo trying to run their governments despite the will of the people

2018-11-13 19:03:23 UTC

We will see what happens

2018-11-13 19:03:24 UTC

that would put italy on par with the lowest unemployment benefit US states

2018-11-13 19:03:36 UTC

I have actualy few pasta friends

2018-11-13 19:03:46 UTC

And they say its all just media circus

2018-11-13 19:03:57 UTC

No doubt

2018-11-13 19:04:21 UTC

This is being used as an effort to rally the italians behind an anti EU platform using the EU to do it

2018-11-13 19:04:57 UTC

the italian pm will probably reluctantly sign a budget for the EU before turning to his people and saying

2018-11-13 19:05:28 UTC

"I wanted to save you and help our country be great, but the EU does not share in this interest"

2018-11-13 19:06:08 UTC

But the EU continues to see all nationalists as blind and backward, so they refuse to budge

2018-11-13 19:06:48 UTC

If you think the crash would suck what would italy leaving the EU do?

2018-11-13 19:07:16 UTC

cause I honestly have no idea, but that seems to be where the current government wants to go

2018-11-13 19:08:07 UTC

The EU has a track record of acting in the interest of european corporations and not in the interest of the European People. Look at the EU's new Copyright law. Now imagine if they had access to a military force?

2018-11-13 19:08:26 UTC

Wow, it took Microsoft.... FIVE WEEKS to resolve a serious issue in their recent update to Windows which caused a problem where files copied from zip files using their built-in utility would overwrite by default rather than prompting the user to either rename the new file, replace the old with the new, or skip the file in the copy (the expected behaviour).
