It might be going a bit too far in some of its assessments, but it points out some general trends that definitely seem to have validity.
"“Time and time again, we find progressive laws getting struck down. And it’s always, always, the ones the Constitution is against. These right-wing judges don’t think for themselves, they just do whatever the Constitution says. And it’s time for that to end.”
Snopes says that quote is from a Babylon Bee article.
Snopes is not trustworty
At least for anything political
They are p far left
Yes, which is why I usually check snopes aricles.
Just saying Snopes is not trustworthy and ignoring it does not make sense.
Snopes is usually the first site to make counter claims, so I start there.
Then, I double check their reasoning for their classification. In this case, they claimed that this quote can only be found in the Babylon Bee. So, I checked if that is accurate and they were correct.
Snopes can get simple cases correct.
I don't understand why these sites don't just accept crypto.
It would also be a wonderful test case for the viability of crypto currency.
BitChute has all their crypto addresses on the donation page
@Undead Mockingbird because the challenge of converting crypto to a form they can use to pay their bills is near impossible
So you are saying BitCoin to cash is not working?
they'd have to process it through an exchange and even then there are hurdles and often times payment processors like mastercard will apply pressure to payment processing
not that it isn't working, just that there are enough problems that the system isn't viable yet
CoinBase takes a huge chunk
I think all the tools required are there.
We should put them to the test.
If there are ways financial institutions can pressure individuals, then crypto currency is not yet doing its job.
If that is the case, we need to overcome that hurdle. Either way, this is an excellent test case.
I can think of several dozen ways to go about it and try it out.
corporations like mastercard are extreme sjws who put a lot of pressure on payment processors and often get their way
Then either cut out processors like mastercard or sufficiently obfuscate it.
Either way, if cryptocurrency cannot deliver on this, then one of its biggest propositions is moot.
pretty much yes
The best way I think to do a single time donation is to use snail mail to a po box
Well, then I will do my own investigation, reach out to BitChute and see for myself if we can't come up with a process that works.
remember, places like patreon ban people on behalf of corporations like mastercard (they got a lot of people banned from patreon)
