BTW socialism is just a form of state idolatry
Me and one other guy tried to debate her on some liberal shit(think it was privilege) and she just kept that I have white privilege and the other guy was wrong
I am a 4 month immigrant
Muh privilege
Am I right to assume her parents are well off?
proving her wrong just makes her double down because that is how baizou thinking works
No @Schedrevka
surprising
Ly
aka sunk cost fallacy
You can't convince them, you can only mock and ignore them.
that is what I do
You can convince them. There have been converts
In my experience most white people who buy into the idea of white privilege as some huge insurmountable hurdle for minorities are those who are incredibly privileged themselves and don't want to admit it's because of their parent's success
the deeper invested they are in this sjw BS, the more they need to believe it to justify their proir support of the BS
You basically have to either A: punch through via experiments in empathy or B: reverse the steps
And probably most importantly is be a friend
they have to be willing to discard all the emotional/personal investment they have in their beliefs instead of giving in to the sunk cost fallacy
Seems like the only thing that reliably converts SJWs is being attacked and punished for accidental wrongthink.
I don't like when the losing side just clings to their pitiful argument
Just why
No, you just need to frame it differently
They need to not look at it as "all of this work I put in was wrong", they need to look at it as " these parts of my philosophy and current self are worthwhile but these other parts will fuck people over"
They are incapable of self reflection unless forced to
Untrue
They just self reflect along a particular axis
when they view their beliefs as being part of their very existance, and any threats to it are a threat to themselves on top of that is when they start doing stuff like jonestown and heaven's gate
That's why you don't make your ideology who you are
Beliefs and ideology can change with time
that is what the british are doing with the saying 'british culture is multiculturalism'
it's just multiCULTISM
I know a vegan
But she is just a vegan
A person that happened to be a vegan
Yeah, I've never really understood the whole identity thing. Like I'm just me, and I can't tell you what that means; you'll have to get to know me
I hate the vegans that say that "I AM A VEGAN THAT IS WHAT I AM"
Normal vegans are ok
I never understood them
But they are ok
