god yes, if we can figure out fission and actually put it to use that'd be amazing

MSR is pretty badass.

US has so much barren land to put reactors on

and replace the awful oil plants

And coal

It can't in any way compete economically with CCGT for electricity generation in America but it's badass.

We should also increase funding to space exploration, and then just jettison all nuclear waste into the milky way while we send out probes

That's the denizens of the demon star's problem to deal with
