It's incredible to me how we keep on describing single mothers as those paragons of virtue for raising kids on their own, when in the vast majority of the cases they had an active role in ending up with kids without a father.

"Fall in love" how romantic. Yes, you can fall in love, like in a bad high school drama teen novel, but women have about two dozen forms of birth control now. If you pop out kids, you should be an adult, and not a child yourself.

By the way, I am so harsh on single mothers because I was raised by one, too.
