Because the federal government has no control over the National Guard, they listen to the governors.
Also you have Calif voting to secede or break into several states every year.
Half of Washington state is trying to break away.
Hopefully if there is a civil war there won’t be missiles involved, just guns and regular explosives like grenades. No legit war shit
