Vaping certainly isn't healthy for you but it's far less dangerous than smoking cigarettes. @Alpaca13

2019-05-31 05:28:47 UTC

I was able to stop smoking thanks to my vape but I'd like to quit that too eventually

This....*this is beautiful*

Actually with the new research vaping is not at all “far less dangerous”.

2019-05-31 05:30:13 UTC

You can get popcorn lung just from months of vaping because of the harsh chemicals in flavored juices, that are sadly in every single juice

2019-05-31 05:31:01 UTC

Quit vaping now or you will get COPD, have to have an oxygen tank with you 24/7, your lungs will fill with fluid, scarring in the lung tissue, etc

2019-05-31 05:31:20 UTC

COPD is like 20-30 years from now though. But popcorn lung is not

2019-05-31 05:31:35 UTC

Scarring of the lung tissue is also not far from now

2019-05-31 05:31:49 UTC

Thats why i dont smoke anything, literally smoking just paper wrapping is bad for you, inhaling anything into your lungs that is either smoke. or a non-medical chemical is not safe.

2019-05-31 05:32:24 UTC

Actually fact: Anything that’s not oxygen is harmful for your lungs.

2019-05-31 05:32:33 UTC

Even when people smoke weed from a bong

2019-05-31 05:32:33 UTC

When i have smoked before, my lungs felt like a fucking inferno.

2019-05-31 05:32:36 UTC

It’s still bad

2019-05-31 05:32:52 UTC

You were literally cooking your alveoli lol

2019-05-31 05:33:49 UTC

Smoking weed is bad because of the smoke part, at this point, for medical reason's just eat it or use oil.

2019-05-31 05:34:21 UTC

What is Popcorn lung?

2019-05-31 05:34:29 UTC

I vaped because it was “new” so there wasn’t research except the same video over and over of a cig being burned in a bottle and the bottle turns brown and plaque like, yet he vape kept the bottle clear and clean so I thought “hey that’s not bad, I’ll vape and see about further research”. The research is coming out not and it’s NOT GOOD

2019-05-31 05:34:46 UTC

There are zero known cases of anyone getting popcorn lung from vaping. It's sensationalism

2019-05-31 05:35:04 UTC

Zero known cases is actually bullshit

2019-05-31 05:35:23 UTC

*web MD as a source, are you fucking joking?*

2019-05-31 05:35:31 UTC

The chemical for flavoring in microwaved popcorn is in flavored vape juices

2019-05-31 05:35:32 UTC

@Alpaca13 Lmfao, i remember the time your vape almost blew up in your pocket, it got so hot it burned your leg.

2019-05-31 05:35:39 UTC

REEEEE

2019-05-31 05:35:58 UTC

It’s not wrong though. The link is still correct.

2019-05-31 05:36:44 UTC

It's not in *all* flavored juices. Harvard tested a few and found it there. It's mostly in buttery or pastry flavored juices. There are companies that produce vape juice with no diacetyl, anyway.

2019-05-31 05:37:49 UTC

Don’t forget that literally any form is sugar going into your lungs in destructive. Sugar on body tissue gets decayed.

2019-05-31 05:38:14 UTC

I mean Alice is the medical professional here,

2019-05-31 05:38:20 UTC

For the studies you listed I can shoot back a bunch that shows it's far less dangerous than smoking. But a tit for tat is pointless. I agree with your basic premise of it not being healthy. It's risk mitigation.

2019-05-31 05:38:37 UTC

*Like literally one*

2019-05-31 05:38:45 UTC

Give some one D50, who has an active brain bleed, or you missed the IV and it’s just in the skin, it kills the tissue

2019-05-31 05:40:10 UTC

Propylene Glycol

2019-05-31 05:40:22 UTC

vegetable glycerin

2019-05-31 05:40:30 UTC

They’re in every single juice

2019-05-31 05:41:07 UTC

Well the sweeter ones. I can’t say for the menthol ones. But literally anything that has even the slightest sweet taste has those 2 ingredients in it.

2019-05-31 05:41:30 UTC

I never said it didn’t, I’m saying it’s not far off anymore.

2019-05-31 05:42:03 UTC

With vaping you either get popcorn lung shortly after you start vaping, or 10/20/30 years down the road you suffer from COPD.
