I would never trust the police, work with the police or help the police (since as an institution it is an arm of the state and is only there for it and not me) But I would never hate the police man of my own kin, I would only ever hate the chain on him and who turned him against his own
Where I live, you can generally relax around Sheriffs, the police that take care of the county because they aren't ordered by supervising bodies to explicitly arrest and ticket people, like city and state police are
