They. Do. Not. Wear. That. Anymore.
There used to be a rotation of in winter they wore green and summer was deserts
Now it’s all green
Unless they only issue deserts when you get put in the desert. But nobody I know has legit been deployed so idk
But I know Navy wears green and only green
Even when deployed on the ship
Ugly ass green <:shaggy_spook:540675167148441600>
Every single standard thing I could find on any military website it says both are standard issue.
Except it’s not true
Because literally in rotc we were updated constantly about marine corps standards and they stopped deserts as a cycle like junior year, maybe even sophomore
If you ever noticed the rotc instructors stopped wearing deserts
Oh shit they're supposed to be coming out with a jungle version.
Ohhhh that’ll be interesting
And yeah I guess I see that.
If the jungle is gay like tiger stripes I’m gonna be salty
I actually enjoy tiger stripe
This is what the German Army uses for Afghanistan.
I’d need to see it on a uniform, because from that picture it doesn’t seem like much green so that’s fine
Unlike the marines where it’s alllll green
Also doing the work out “plank” almost made me throw up. I haven’t eaten yet so I just have loads of stomach acid
Yeah that’s not bad at all
But now even when we're not in desert environments, like temperate and deciduous environments, we still wear desert boots, which annoys me.
Why is there no standard issue black boot anymore
Because they fucking suck that’s why
They have to be cleaned constantly
It’s a waste of time
When you could be training
They ain't got to be completely leather.
I literally just mean the same exact material but black
Yeah, like the boots I have...every spec of dirt pops on those shoes and they want that shit clean
Military boots would the exact same
Black looks good, but for military purpose they’re not good
Done with my work out. An hour is a good start
Wish we could work out together.
One thing I've been reading about a lot and watching videos is David goggins, he's considered one of the greatest Navy seals the US has ever had, before he joined the Navy he was over 330 lb.
He lost 130 pounds in 3 months.
He did it by fasting himself and extreme exercise.
