That's one dog

2019-10-01 13:50:41 UTC

No I’ve met many like that.

2019-10-01 13:50:53 UTC

Bull Arabs are awesome for pig hunting because of their strength and aggression

2019-10-01 13:50:55 UTC

That’s just the more personal one I can show since she’s on Instagram

2019-10-01 13:51:10 UTC

I had one that was the most docile and puppy like fella you'd ever meet

2019-10-01 13:51:23 UTC

Anecdotal evidence isn't valid

2019-10-01 13:51:38 UTC

Unless your dog has aggression, you don’t “train them to not be”. Because not at of them are assholes.

2019-10-01 13:51:51 UTC

For the most part, dogs NEED proper training and discipline

2019-10-01 13:52:04 UTC

Yeah and that proper training is literally what I just told you.

2019-10-01 13:52:24 UTC

That's not the training I'm talking about

2019-10-01 13:52:31 UTC

That’s all I ever gave my dogs and Justin’s met them many times and they never hurt him

2019-10-01 13:52:32 UTC

I used to be an obedience instructor

2019-10-01 13:52:58 UTC

If the dog isn’t violent then stop trying to fucking train to not be violent.

2019-10-01 13:53:21 UTC

You don't train dogs to be non violent

2019-10-01 13:53:22 UTC

If they never show aggression to you taking a bone while they chew, you getting near their face, etc. then there’s nothing to be done

2019-10-01 13:53:36 UTC

You train them to be obedient and follow commands

2019-10-01 13:53:55 UTC

They literally need that structure

2019-10-01 13:54:24 UTC

It kinda works in the opposite way a dog goes chain crazy

2019-10-01 13:54:26 UTC

Unless you’re talking about specifics like “give me paw” it comes with going pee and poop you train them obedience.

2019-10-01 13:54:47 UTC

When we say “let’s go outside” they come.

2019-10-01 13:55:09 UTC

When we say “inside let’s go” they come.

2019-10-01 13:55:22 UTC

All commands should be a single word

2019-10-01 13:55:32 UTC

Followed by a gesture

2019-10-01 13:55:39 UTC

Oh boo-hoo that they’re not

2019-10-01 13:55:45 UTC

It still works just fine

2019-10-01 13:56:00 UTC

I'm giving you my professional opinion

2019-10-01 13:56:01 UTC

There’s different ways of training a dog

2019-10-01 13:56:14 UTC

Doesn't mean they're correct

2019-10-01 13:56:24 UTC

There's different ways of treating a wound

2019-10-01 13:56:36 UTC

You could rub dirt in it, for instance

2019-10-01 13:56:36 UTC

I hear you, you’re giving me the professional super hard core, pay you money to help me teach it way when we did it for free but it’s not 1 word

2019-10-01 13:57:10 UTC

It is very easy to confuse the dog otherwise

2019-10-01 13:57:16 UTC

If it works, where we don’t have to “argue” or what ever with the dogs, it works

2019-10-01 13:57:25 UTC

We say the same thing every time so there no confusion

2019-10-01 13:57:35 UTC

And they’re 5 and 9 now so they’ve heard it long enough

2019-10-01 13:57:45 UTC

If it learns the commands, it learns them and that's great

2019-10-01 13:58:11 UTC

I'm not talking about specific instances though. Generalised training

2019-10-01 13:58:24 UTC

I have done one in one training too though

2019-10-01 13:58:36 UTC

Dr. Harry was an idol of mine

2019-10-01 13:58:46 UTC

Professionally I agree with you, but saying someone didn’t properly train their dog because it’s not one word followed by a gesture isn’t *in my opinion* right.

He was a vet and animal behavioural specialist
