Nice man

2019-11-27 18:41:45 UTC

Tricare is very weirdp#

2019-11-27 18:41:57 UTC

Once I’m 21 I think I have to get Tricare young adult

2019-11-27 18:42:05 UTC

And that expires once I’m 26

2019-11-27 18:42:51 UTC

I have to pay for Tricare young adult because I’m not a full time student

2019-11-27 18:43:00 UTC

I was looking at active reserves, (babysitting the reserve Marines) but ehh, if going active, might aswell do regular active.

2019-11-27 18:43:07 UTC

My sister is covered under my mom still because she’s a full time student

2019-11-27 18:43:32 UTC

I’d say do your full 4 year enlistment then go reserves.

2019-11-27 18:43:46 UTC

The only other benefits you can obtain will come once you reach 20

2019-11-27 18:43:58 UTC

Without pension there’s no fucking point

2019-11-27 18:44:03 UTC

Yeah, alot of people do Marines for 4 years, then jump over to another branch.

2019-11-27 18:44:06 UTC

I’m so pissed there’s no pension

2019-11-27 18:44:23 UTC

I literally want to become president so I can put everything back the way it was.

2019-11-27 18:44:33 UTC

Hang the fucker who decided to get rid of pension

2019-11-27 18:44:40 UTC

Your 20 years stack, so if you did 10 Army and 10 Navy, it counts as 20.

2019-11-27 18:44:47 UTC

Yeah

2019-11-27 18:44:52 UTC

I wouldn’t wanna swap though

2019-11-27 18:45:07 UTC

Unless I find out I’m extremely sea sick or something lmao

2019-11-27 18:45:20 UTC

My roommate did 6 Navy, and 14 Army

2019-11-27 18:45:34 UTC

Swapping like that is hard

2019-11-27 18:45:43 UTC

Because the ranks are SO DIFFERENT

2019-11-27 18:46:14 UTC

I know army and marines because they’re basically the same. But Air Force and navy/ coast guard have me confused time to time. I know a little more Air Force though

2019-11-27 18:46:29 UTC

Yeah, you usually only get dropped down 1 rank equivalent, or if you get a waiver, you get to keep your rank and become the equivalent.

2019-11-27 18:46:54 UTC

The one thing I really hate about the army is that their ranks are Velcro

2019-11-27 18:47:03 UTC

I prefer real ranks like the marines

2019-11-27 18:47:41 UTC

The officer ranks on the army’s uniform is very hard to see because of the god damn camo. Where as a marines shiny ass metal bar sticks out and you know straight away

2019-11-27 18:47:51 UTC

Lol, Velcro is ass, it's convenient, but after washing repeatedly, and in rough terrain, it is useless garbage, need to bring back buttons and straps.

2019-11-27 18:48:11 UTC

Yeah no such thing as needing to measure your ranks

2019-11-27 18:48:19 UTC

There’s a tiny box and you slap that shit right on

2019-11-27 18:48:36 UTC

Navy is kinda the same but they sew their shit

2019-11-27 18:49:05 UTC

I itleast prefer officer ranks to be actually metal like the marines. It’s hard telling the difference

2019-11-27 18:49:41 UTC

Angry Vet (now he is called angry cop) would rant about his hatred for Velcro and how he has gotten in trouble multiple times for losing his unit and rank patches while doing exercises in the woods and training.

2019-11-27 18:49:55 UTC

Lmao

2019-11-27 18:50:03 UTC

“The army doesn’t make mistakes”

2019-11-27 18:50:26 UTC

>Adopts velcro and that moon camo

2019-11-27 18:51:11 UTC

I like the new camo, it's nice, but we need less baggy and we need to bring back buttons and straps.

2019-11-27 18:51:48 UTC

Also he’s still angry vet

2019-11-27 18:51:53 UTC

Straps?

2019-11-27 18:52:31 UTC

Buttons yes, straps no.

2019-11-27 18:52:53 UTC

I mean straps for bags and gear
