idk which is best, i just see how Ethereum is constantly growing it's infrastructure
them problem is not with *a* particular service
there are only a handful of card processors
and they can shut them down
yeah, we need the whole blockchain deal, all of that stuff being there
how does a dedicated blockchain provide a path to rederal reserve notes that is any cleaner that a bitcoin transaction today?
*than a bitcoin...
... and if you have to set up ACH... why not just authorize directly
bitcoin is just a currency, we need infrastructure, banks, blockchain-based servers, AI farms
a bank would be the first step
Clear, open and safe ways to deal with this shit
well
a financial institution that would process payments for anything legal
find some S&L in some dead rustbelt town
and buy it
or do a deal with them
it would probably need to be private
You sound like there aren't tons of guys who are working on it as we speak :]
privately owned i mean
if you have the bank, what is the point in all the blockchain overhead?
yeah that's kind of my point. the blockchain stuff might have uses, but the fundamental problem is you need a friendly bank that won't put up with shit from SJWs in order to fund anything.
the bank has to come first.
you could find a bank
hypothetically there could be a privately owned bank that would get involved in this. some small institution for high-risk businesses, like porn, guns, tobacco, etc.
I'll be awaiting paradigm's solution with baited breath.
I am not working on payments
I think the single solution approach for payments is stupid
but finding it won't be easy because these institutions don't advertise and still exist to make money.
Meanwhile, there are a number of crypto solutions which are just around the corner. Some of which do not use blockchains at all.
good
they will come, and they will go
eventually something might reach critical mass
Do you have a whitepaper?
Sure.
no, I am not writing a whitepaper
I was thinking about it, btw. Blockchain is perfect for social media.
Which is a public facing anyway.
Why not totally transparent?
Rather than monopolised by a siongle set of actors.
