the several bullets in the backs of their heads is proof
Khashoggi is now a Trump trump-card
I remember when I was still living in europe, there was big news for one day about a new gold mine discovered somewhere in the mountains, the next day nobody talked about it anymore and all articles got deleted
>Khashggi gets killed
>Saudi gets the blame
>Peopel go "unacceptable! kill saudis, death death!!!!"
>Trump goes "I believe Saudis"
>People go "Lol hurr orange man dumb, orange man bad, hurr, hurr, drumpf"
>People forgot Saudis
>Trump now can get favors from the Saudis, or throw attention back on them by complaining if they don't bend the knee
whenever i see a news story slowly disappearing it reminds me of that
*they* got the gold
but also, in europe the state has much more bearing over the news
the west is an outrage culture
we get a headline, we voice our anger and outrage
Then people forget and move on
and nothing changes
there are state agencies that can actively censor news stations or tell them what to say via censorship committies
Leprichauns exist in Europe, but nobody wants to talk about it
especially in the eastern part
that's where the gold went

we've become desensitized to bad stuff, and the ability of actual disection of information
We are just trained puppies at this point, media holds an article over us, and we jump and wag our tails
I guess that news story got ... unnews'd
and they throw it going "Go get it boy"
and we run after it
both are equally bad
half information is dangerous, because you can get people to act on things without complete info
if you're uninformed, you can be misinformed
If you're misinformed you're open to manipulation, because you're actually uninformed, but don't know it yet
peopel fill in their own blanks with what they need to be outraged
I mean, if you don't know how to fly a plane you might still have a 1 percent chance to actually get it right, if you have bad knowledge the crash is imminent
✈️🏬
if you have bad knowledge you'll just flail and have that 1% chance to accidentally hit the right buttons 😉
what if the misinformation is that the 4 people on the traintrack are murderers and the one on the other track is innocent when it's actually the opposite
but if you have no background knowledge it would still be a 50/50
*playing devil's advocate*
that depends on your morals really
*morals are a social construct*
personally i'd let the train run over the 4 people,
Then i have a better chance of killing the lone-person cuz i can choke him to death 😉
*God has left the chat*
😄
well he deserved it, he shouldn't be on that traintrack!
and those 4 neither, especially in a line
yeah right ? freaking poor people just get money lol
i'm saving society from their stupidity 😄
i know right!
If you're poor, just.. stop being poor
